SUBMIT Your Starcraft's Table Now

Hello guys, ever wonder where am I playing? I mean the table that I am using, chair that I am sitting, mouse and keyboard that I am holding, size of the monitor that I viewing, speaker or headset that I am listening to, and of course the whole environment, ambient, and lighting that I am at when I am playing Starcraft.

A picture paints a thousand words, below is the picture of where I used to play Starcraft in my hometown... not workplace.

As you can see, I'd got a clean table, totally no distraction at all when I am playing Starcraft. A 17" inch monitor is just big enough for viewing to where my SCV goes. I don't have speaker, but only an Altec Lensing headset, so it don't distract no one when I played in the middle of the night. With mouse and keyboard from Logitech, it just guarantees that I get a total grip of the game. No cabling is required for network, I am using wireless ^_^ and it don't guarantee 0% lagness... too bad. Lastly, I plays with my butt on the bed, no chair at all.

How about you? Submit us a picture of yours. I will compile everyone's picture that sent to me (lousy.robot@gmail.com), before 12 February 2006 - and post it in this blog. Be ready with some descriptions of the "place" in the picture that you will send me.

There will be a winner picture and he/she will receive a prize of USD $100.00. Who is going to sponsor it? Yes, I had talked to Blizzard and they agreed to pay for the winner prize. However, terms and conditions apply. (I am just kidding)

So what are you waiting for? Send your Starcraft's table picture to my mail box now at lousy.robot@gmail.com before 12 February 2006.

ace1964 from US EAST Found as Hacker

ace1964 with a record of 365-501-17 from US EAST found as hacker in a public BGH game. He was found "farting his Command Center off", while I was in the game with him (he is my partner). Upon realizing he is hacking, I get pissed off and informed everyone about it before I left the game almost immediately. I wouldn't want to play with a mineral hacker though he was on my side.

It seems that the latest patch 1.13f did not actually cured anything. The money hacking is still widely used today. And for ace1964, you were unlucky today as you were caught hacking with evident... shame on you. This is going to be published widely in the next two days.

Download the evident at:

http://bgh.ausbc.net/request.php?28

P:S I realized that all noobs are more likely to hack than decent players.

P:S Sorry for the previous mistake. The guy who hack is NOT sig25 but ace1964. I truly apologize for that.

Resident Evil (Starcraft) V11

Getting bored of playing too much BGH? Not even want to try a 1on1 in Lost Temple or R-point? Then, play the UMS map - Ressssssssident Evilllllllllllllllllllll.

You play the role of an average civilian in Racoon City. Lately there has been strange reports of people being eaten and coming back to life and going around killing everything. The next day, there were reports of the incident in the city near the bridge out of the city. The RPD warned everyone to stay inside their homes and lock all the doors to be safe in case the virus spread.

A few days of down the track, an outbreak of the virus occured and the city was lockdowned. You like the many more people are running down the crowded streets wanting to get out of this city.... alive.

It was now you took the shelter in a store and you have been in there for 8 hours... all you can hear is the screaming of humans for life, and the prowling of mutated residents.

The game was, however, NOT straight forward. You will have to solve very complicated puzzles and avoid being captured by the zombies and mutated beasts... which is pretty hard. You started out as an unnamed residents without weapons and was a given a minute to actually get a shotgun (when you get a shotgun, you will transform yourself from a "technician" into a "Ghost"), which is the basic thing you must initially do <--- the shotgun is hidden somewhere with no absolute clue... pretty hard huh? No shotgun, mean no game. To win the game, you will have to solve the puzzles, survives the nightmare, and escape. Killing the NEMESIS is optional.

To be fun in this game, you will have to play with more people because everyone will then able to help each other in defending, puzzles solving, and of course reviving each other after being captured by the zombies. You will also experience sound effects and background music from the original Resident Evil. Yeah, this is what make the game lots better than other UMS.

Game Rating:
Gameplay: 5/10
Sound: 9/10
Learning curve: 20 minutes <--- however you may have already got frustated even before 20 minutes end
Difficulties:
9/10 (very difficult)

Download the game at:

http://bgh.ausbc.net/request.php?27

P:S The creator of this game is PeazeL -now- Mp)PeazeL

P:S Remember to use "Use Map Setting" as Game Type to play Resident Evil (Starcraft).

P:S Also switch off Starcraft background music to hear the intended background music from the game itself.

Happy Chinese New Year - Gong Xi Fa Cai

Today is Chinese New Year Eve. It has been quiet this year in Malaysia as the government has enforced stricter rules against those who burn fire crackers - though I could hear some now.

Here I would like to wish all Chinese BGHers a very happy chinese new year, and may all your wishes come true, gong xi gong xi ^_^

Don't play too much game during Chinese New Year, spend more time with your family and visit your relatives and friends on this occasions. Else you may have to wait until next year ^_^

I want to eat BAKUA now. Bye ^_^

Some Creative Profile by TooDammGood

This is what's inside TooDammGood (US West) profile. It has to be admit here that he has got some creativity. You must enlarge the picture to see clearly.

Very creative, but sorry I am not gay. Find someone else.

And I don't plagiarise, I am just blogging.

Till then, hope to see more creative profile from our BGH community.
No thanks is required for promoting your "brother"... cuz I am just blogging anyway ^_^

VivaLdi and kOOlam Replays Pack

This is an old replay posted some time ago by VivaLdi in the comments section. 12 downloads so far including myself on the link he provided, and I guess not many have really downloaded it.

I downloaded it myself weeks ago, but I just haven't got the time to spend on it yet. Today is holiday, and is a long holiday in Malaysia for the celebration of Chinese New Year - to be exact 10 days holiday. So forgive me, I just viewed it only today and I think it was definitely good. This is the kind of quality replay we are always seeking for - the VivaLdi and kOOlam's Replays Pack.

3 replays were included in the zip file that you will find below featuring only the deadly combination of VivaLdi and kOOlam. These replays are not boring because there are Zerg and Terran inside ^_^ Well and of course, these are certainly replays for any Zerg lover... see the replay yourself and you will know what I am saying... massing lings is just enough to kill.

Genie in a Blog

The BGH community is getting fatter these days. People are starting to write their own blog to express their anxiety, opinion, strategy, and even personal rant on the game of BGH alone. We don't have proper website, but we have blog, and I truly encourages we BGHers should have a blog of your own.

Yesterday, we saw another BGHers making his own blog. He is no other than our biggest voice -genie). As per reading I have made a moment ago in his blog, I felt that we actually still do have a lot more of news that can be make in this very niche "market".

"Genie in a Blog" (I would personally think GenieInaBlog.blogspot.com is a better name than genieRants.blogspot.com) is basically a very personal blog for genie) alone. Making his own thought, expressing his feelings, throwing his rants, and of course blogging for people such as 69DoggyStyle to indulge are everything about this blog - correct me if I am wrong.

However, you may not express your appreciation, opinion, suggestion, and sarcasm in the blog as it is a "close-comment-blog". genie) did not want anybody to interupt his says.

Whenever you are free, just pay a visit to genie)'s blog at http://genieRants.blogspot.com/. I am sure he will appreciate it a lot.

Don't Judge a BGHers by its Stats

The one guy from the away team with a stats of thousands wins and hundred loses left the game immediately when another two guys (stats of 7-11-1 and 23-20-2) joined in with him. This guy left because he see chances of winning is little when his "blink" told him that those two were noobs... and the home team are experts. Yeah, probably true, but not in all cases.

Here are two interesting replays from LosersAreUs with some random guys and GosuDrop beating the hell out of the Marlboro "A" teams.

1st Replay (3on3)
akao87 (7734-1037-1022), YaO_MiNG (4606-1126-380) , rAzAgAl)A( (3791-713-173)
VS
ApoxOnYou (97-803-22), JamesBond_007 (76-62-19), LosersAreUs (272-234-3)

3 Marlborians who have a combined 20000 games vs 3 random noobs in stats. The odds are 10:1... yeah, superficially.

2nd Replay (1on1)
marlb0r0 (3508-973-275) <--- he is the icon of Marlboro US WEST
VS
GosuDrop (60-60-6) <--- unknown guy with noobie stats.

GosuDrop told me in the email that his opponent marlb0r0 said
"son, you need more carriers"... eventually the guy GosuDrop already reached the max of 200 units, how did he get more carriers?

Perhaps, the next time when you are in an away team, don't get pissed off with partners that do not have impressive stats. Probably you will meet someone like GosuDrop and LosersAreUs who can turn around the table easily. Stats werent everything but of course, it give the first impression of who you are. But sometimes impression could betray you... because even good profile BGHers are just another amateur.

alvin(v)peirong Replays Package

This is a replay package of alvin(v)peirong (US WEST 451-109-10) featuring himself beating the hell out of everyone in a 3vs3 BGH game. Most of the replays are good to some state, but it might not satisfy the lust of many readers here. Though for those who have nothing to do, and would like to see some replays with some chips in hand, I suggest you could download this fine replays and take a sit back.

And probably for alvin(v)peirong's enemy, this is a good piece for you to analyse the weakness of him, and revenge.

Download the replay package at:

http://bgh.ausbc.net/request.php?22

P:S: To those who want to share the great replays of themselves, please do not send it piece by piece but bundle it into a zip file..... unless it is really really a special one.

Good Old Times, Bad Old Days

Ohh well peace, peace, do not anger the inner heart of the others, though we are constantly banging each other superficially, but I suggest we make peace in the heart. It is just a game... and there are good old times, and bad old days in life... just when Xeno and kOOlam are losing together.

Here's an undated replay sent by someone who wants to remain anonymous. The replays show both XENO]P[HOBIA and kOOlam losing together to smOOth[oib] and RaGe[rBh]. Accompanying in the email also brings wordings and descriptions of unsatisfactory on how both Xeno and kOOlam ended up being a big name in the BGH's circle.

Actually they are both good players, but they lose a lot vs anyone. How they ended up being the superheroes of BGH I will never understand. There are many names out there, names which if put in teams could be very dangerous. I would not consider myself better, and there are very many like me. It takes so little to tip the game in our favour that it would seem blind luck making kural's team and xeno's team win games. I hope this replay will shed somelight on the two players, do not think it is aimed an attack on them both, but merly showing that no-one is perfect.

~anonymous

I do not want to comment on every replay, but certainly beating XENO]P[HOBIA and kOOlam wouldn't be impossible. You are not beating the combination of Nal_Testie and ToT)Mondragon. For your information, they are having having an unbeatable 54-0 in PGTour now at this hour and day.

XENO]P[HOBIA Backing Up the Claim

Old replays of kOOlam beating Xeno on a 2on2 match-up were not going to prove anything of what lies today. A very recent replay of the two giants have just landed in my mail box - featuring one of the most awaited battle in the BGH community.

XENO]P[HOBIA and retired.o.g
vs
ShOoTiNg_SpelLs and kOOlam aka kural and sOler0

This fresh replay can be downloaded at:

http://bgh.ausbc.net/request.php?20

A challenge has just been sent out by a)fallen(templa (Xeno's side, but not Xeno himself) to have a 2on2 with kOOlam's team. For kOOlam to accept the challenge or not, please verify it in the comments with your Blooger ID kural.

Koolam's Team Prove to be the BGH King Once More

The weeks forsaken koolam has come to prove himself to be the BGH king once more. With BGH as a well-known Protoss map, koolam tell us another part of story, whereby he beat XENO]P[HOBIA (the argueably Super Protoss) team with Vultures. Amazingly, koolam can beat 2 giant Protoss single handly with Vultures and his little tanks - koolam's teammate died long ago.

Do not underestimate the Terran and Zerg combination in BGH. Do not forget Koolam(T) and his partner Al_Bundy(Z) had kicked the ass off of Shooting_Spells (the legend?) some time ago. Or perhaps in a 2vs2, not a 3vs3, the combination of Terran and Zerg are lots more deadlier in BGH map.

Who can beat koolam now? Of all the replays we've seen so far, koolam still prove himself to be the king. Chuck Norris Team, the team who won the 2vs2 BGH Tourney organized by BGHWest some time ago can beat koolam's team? Do you guys want to have a SHOWDOWN to determine the king? I want to see your demands in the comments box below. Probably we would be able to organize another BGH tourney if you guys are keen. I am looking forward to search for the King of the Big Game if you guys are willing to help.

And before I forget, here's the replay of koolam's team vs Xeno's team:

http://bgh.ausbc.net/request.php?19

P:S: For those who think going vultures against Toss are stupid, probably these replays will open wide your eyes, and shut your mouth. Again, do not forget, both the Protoss who lost to the Terran are also gosus. Forgive me if I am wrong, maybe koolam could play Protoss even better than Terran.

P:S kural is also koolam

Asia Server Clan War Replay

Yet another good game from XENO]P[HOBIA the man himself. This battle took place in the Hunter map between:

XENO]P[HOBIA - APM 282
onetimEuSe - APM 120
vs
AngeL.IsIs - APM 411
NatiOns.Italy - APM 219

HUGE APM from AngeL.IsIs, and that's was really incredible... his MAX APM was 503. Yeah, I know what you want to say, APM means nothing. You are correct this time though.

For those who think he can beat Xeno the man himself, probably you can make an apointment here in the comment or just send an email to me (lousy.robot@gmail.com). I do not guarantee he will want to spend his time playing with you, noobs - all right, I am just kidding. All I want is please cut your crap saying you could play better and stop the spamming comments in my blog flaming Xeno and still hide as a coward only microing your 2000 APM with your mouth (words).

Funny Picture: Superdog

I couldn't help myself but to share this up. This dog wearing a superman suit is really funny. You could immediately see that the dog is very proud but yet shy wearing that superhero suit. Haha look at the two little hands and the boot.... absolutely creative. I am thinking to make one for my dogs as well.

My two dogs. The left one is called Rooney (yes, exactly the Wayne Rooney from Manchester United) while the one on the right is Kipkip. Gonna fix them with Batman and Robin...

For those who don't know yet, Superman Return is going to hit the big screen in the middle of this year. You can watch the trailler at:

What To Do in ZZT vs PPP that rush?

We have been playing a lot of public BGH games, and almost certainly we use random and came out as a bad combination such as a double Zerg with a Terran against a triple Protoss (or perhaps a double Protoss and a Terran). Your own experiences and experience's BGHers tell us that we are in a big disadvantage in such a situation.

There is something need to be done by this ZZT team and it should be done correctly in order to beat the triple Protosses. You know that they are probably rushing, and a Zerg are pretty weak against these fierce rushes in BGH. A Terran couldn't just help a Zerg with its Marine, Medic, and Firebats. Does doom already destined for a ZZT vs a PPP team?

I have been playing lot of games with Terran teaming with 2 Zergs against triple Protoss. I understand that a Zerg couldn't stand such rushes from a triple Protoss and as a Terran, I have to help. The only possible help that I could give to a Zerg is the Vultures's mines. The fastest way to produce 4 Vultures with mines ready are:

8SCV-->Supply Depot-->10SCV-->Barrack-->Gas (still 10SCV)-->Double Factory-->Supply Depot-->Supply Depot. [many have only been going Gas in 12SCV, but I don't, because I need fast gas in this situation]

Since the Protoss do not have range unit at the begining, I can block my entrance safely with SCV repairing from inside. However, problem occur if the Protoss cannon my entrance. So, the two Zerg have to ensure that the Protoss do not succeed in their early cannon quest.

When the Vultures successfully embed the mines before the Protosses rushes, the winning possibility will be a lot higher for a ZZT. Then, the ZZ have to bear the responsibility to kill a Protoss either by their Hydras or Mutas... since Vultures just don't kill a base.

Or, the ZZ have to rush down a Protoss in an early begining (say like 6pool). Of course, the ZZ are then pretty weak, and the Terran are now responsible to protect them with the mines, and soon tanks.

The above strats might be wrong, and it is my personal suggestion on what to do when you are in a ZZT vs PPP. This strategy is often used by me with an APM of 110 under an Extra High Latency network. With such normal APM and slow network, please do NOT tell me you want to micro your MM like a God vs 3 Protoss and still win in the rushes.

Your comments and opinions on what to do in a ZZT vs PPP that rush are most welcome in the comments section below.

Zerglings Claws of God

This is another glitch in Starcraft - not a hack. Zerglings are stacking up just like the Hydralisk we've seen earlier in previous post.

The guy who did this is FirStS (222-85-7) from US West. The victim of Zergling Claws of God accussed him of hack, and the guy FirStS replied saying "You fag, this is not a hack, you stupid" (something like that). Man... many know it is not a hack, but this is one way of cheating and shouldn't be use. I would say it is unfair. The victim who's caught under the glitch is innocent. And you are trying to avoid your guiltiness by saying this is not a hack, is a glitch, glitch, glitch and glitch... say the other way round is a cheat anyway.

At the end of the day, Flying Drone Glitch is still fine, but Zergling Claws of Gods shouldn't be use just like that. If you play that in a local game (in Cybercafe), you'll probably been beaten up just like this... yes this.

bghskills.blogspot.com by Craft Clan

A new blog had just been incarnated into our BGH community. BGHskills.blogspot.com is a new blog that launched recently by the Craft Clan for the BGH community to discuss mainly on strategies apply in BGH.

Currently, the blog is still pretty much new and we certainly hope more BGHers will know about it. So, if you can, just spread the news... just spread it. This will eventually give spiritual and incentive supports to the Craft Clan when the traffics shoot up and the comments boooom.

I certainly hope more BGH websites are born to sustain the BGH community. Until then, enjoy the new blog by Craft Clan (http://bghskills.blogspot.com)

Alvin(v)peirong said: Hacks Can't Win Marlboro

From my personal opinion, if I am a money and map-hacker, I don't think even Slayer_'Boxer' can beat me. Imagine money come for free, and you know where to attack. But hey dude, get serious, noobs hacker - if you wanna hack, please hack with some quality and bring some skills as well.

Good Replay. Great Zergling Run by XENO. And Certainly a Beautiful Comeback.

This is a replay sent by 2 beautiful girls from New Zealand to my email (lousy.robot@gmail.com) today. It was certainly a good replay and ought to be view. It's a luck you are here in the blog as a BGHers, cuz this is certainly a good replay that you must have. It wasn't another Protoss bash, but a game with a lot of arts. APM wise... nahh... only XENO excels, the rest... 70+... what can I say?

Ok, enough for the crap. Let's move on with what the senders said about the game.

"This was an interesting replay where the balance of power swayed back and forth several times in a 3v3 . Features some great comebacks and excellent unit control particularly the zerg player."

We are constantly looking for great replays of BGH map, whether it is a 1on1, 2on2, 3on3 or a 4on4. If you have BGH replays that you think are good and ought to be viewed by everyone, send in to my email (lousy.robot@gmail.com) and I shall upload it immediately this time.

If possible please tell us a bit of why is this replay deserve to be post. Your description about the replay will be directly posted up as well.

Yahoo! Found Us

Google and MSN already found this blog and had positioned it in the top ranking weeks ago. However, Yahoo! is only able to crawl us just recently. Typing the keyword "Starcraft BGHers" or simply "BGHers" in Yahoo! search engine will quickly bring this blog to the top ranking list.

However base from my stats analysis, nobody had ever used a search engine to find us. Haha, this is sad. Being no1 in the ranking is just a name, coz nobody know it anyway.

Please suggests on how do I gather more BGHers here. Your innovative idea may just help.

Three New Polls: Best Spot for Races

I had discovered weaknesses in previous poll (Best Spot in BGH) from the comments written by you guys. It is true that best spot in BGH is very depended on the race you have chosen.

A Protoss player may like 3, 11, and 12, but a Terran player may prefer 9 and 5. Meanwhile, a Zerg may wants to be at 1 or probably 9 (I dunno, cuz I don't play Zerg).

I had taken out the old poll (Best Spot in BGH) and putting up a whole new one. Yes, this time with 3 different races for 3 different surveys. These polls are perhaps more accurate than the previous one as we have the matter of race inside.

In the previous poll, I notice that a lot of you are voting for 12, and I really wonder why, as I hate 12 the most. I am a mech Terran player in 3vs3, and 12 can't actually block nicely compare to other spots. In my personal opinion, as a Terran Mechanic, spot 9 is the best. When you are in 9 as a Terran, you totally owns both route of 6 and 7 with your tanks guarding on 9's natural expansions. With the minerals hide further inside the base, you are save from being shoot by siege tanks and drops. And of course, when you want to attack from base, 11 and 11's expansions are both your first victims. The route to 9 is further narrow, and enemy units are all jam in traffic when they are attacking you. Tanks can be well placed in the little north of 9's natural expansions... a perfect defending spot.

For Terran, my vote goes to 9. And for Protoss and Zerg, it will be always at 1.

Happy voting.

P:S Please becareful when making your choice, as I have limits to only one vote per person.

Command Centre Farting's Hack

This is a new age of hack witnessed and sent by Twins)probe (US West) to my email (lousy.robot@gmail.com) and it was "fucking good". We have seen earlier in patch 1.12 that Terran money hack of 30k after 4 minutes was crazy, but this time it is even much crazier, whereby not only the gay hacker get minerals, but gas as well (the previous money hack in 1.12 only grant them minerals, but not gas).

As you can see from the picture above, the command centres keep farting their ass off with explosion - mineral and gas popping up at the same time. They are actually two hackers in the replay which you can find below. Both are like homo newbies goes by the name Zodiax and BadBOY. Their APM are freaking slow, and the way they played are prehistoric.

The APM however, shoot up to a max of 14463 when their Command Centres Fart. Take a look at the result from the BWChart below.

This hack is new, and probably has not been released massively in the public, and I believe the developer is using it in the public for testing. All we can hope is Blizzard will get some help from the International Police to actually capture hackers for exploiting their premises - imprisons these hackers until Starcraft is not popular anymore (dream on, just dream on).

I have uploaded the replay on the link below:

http://bgh.ausbc.net/request.php?13

P:S Hacking stories in Starcraft are endless. Getting a new patch just doesn't solves hacking problems as these hackers are so hardworking.

New Poll: Best Spot in BGH?

A new poll had just been setup to accommodate the new question on the best spot in BGH. BGH, a very well known money map is also not lonely from being accused as fairly unbalance with starting positions.

Many had uttered that 3 o'clock as the worst positions in BGH with some of its mineral patches exposed to 5 o'clock Tanks. Other may have just complained about having a cliff for Tanks and High Templars drop especially in 5 and 11.

But what about the best spot? Let's find out the results weeks later when this poll is enoughly filled.

P:S Please becareful when making your choice, as I have limits to only one vote for each person.

Poll Result: Best 3vs3 BGH Races Combination

After weeks of having our survey in from the poll, we'd finally came out with the conclusion of "What's the best combination of races in 3vs3 BGH?"

A total of 204 BGHers had participated in the poll and 36.3% of them had voted a triple Protoss as the best combination, following by double Protoss and a Terran (31.9%). Amazingly, nobody had ever voted a TTZ and a ZZP as the best combination.

P:S Though the results have finalized, I still stand still on my opinion that a PPT is the best combination. Haha, I am stubborn.

UPDATE (15 Jan 2006, 11pm): Here's an add-on arguement from Twins)sExY for the combination of PPP. Her arguement clearly stated that a PPP combo wasn't that good afterall - inside the replay below.

mrchacalkill's FOUND as Hacker

Here's another Zerg Rock Hack's replay sent by SmI)elit3colt (150-36-10) from US West. The guy who hacked was mrchacalkill (1154-949-66).

http://bgh.ausbc.net/request.php?11

From this replay, we can obviously prove that mrchacalkill obtains both MapHack and RockHack. Wouldn't it be good if everyone can remember this name and stop playing with him anymore?

First Person Replay

Did you guys know that there is a new Penguin Plug that has been launched recently (around 6th January 2006)? This new Penguin Plug has adds a new cool feature that allows you to watch the replay of another person in a first person perspective. Meaning, you can actually watch his mouse movement, his views, what he clicks, and everything he do. By having this would also means that you can't move your mouse anywhere else you want... but only seeing what he is doing and where he view.

To be able to save a First Person Replay, and viewing it, both parties (the person who save the replay, and the person who want to watch the replay) must both posses the new Penguin Plug, or else it will only work normally (without the First Person Perspective).

If you have not got the new Penguin Plug, here's the download link:
http://www.bwprogrammers.com/files/penguin/penguinplug-044.zip

and I have posted up one of my recent replay in the link below (I saved with the new Penguin Plug). So after you have download the new Penguin Plug, you can immediately view my First Person Replay. If it don't work, then probably you do not do the things correctly.

http://bgh.ausbc.net/request.php?10 (an example)

P:S You can now send me your First Person Replay to my mailbox(lousy.robot@gmail.com) -_-" must be a quality one please, or else is difficult for me to post it up, as the readers demand for something more.

P:S By the way, since you can't move your mouse when viewing the replay, you'll probably need to use the keyboard's key "U" and "D" to adjust the speed of the replay. And F10 to jump to the main menu.

10,029 Pageloads and 4,828 Unique Visitors in 53 Days

This blog has finally been visited for over 10,029 times by 4,828 unique visitors in exactly 53 days (since the official launch at 23 November 2005). I guess it is a good start for a blog like this, and hopefully we can achieve something more. I realized that though we have ten of thousands BGHers in Battle.net, but not many have come to know about the existence of a daily updated BGH blog. Of course, they don't even visit other Starcraft website, and they just wanna play... they are probably less "hardcore". The point here is that a BGH blog has potential.

Releasing this statistic to the public has never been done by other websites, but I think everyone ought to know and it will serve as a good reference for all the folks here. And I don't think releasing this will be a stupid move, but hey, it don't impact me. I am proud that this blog has got some little achievement today.

Thanks for all your supports, and see you again in 100,000.
Sayonara.

Rotating Overlord

I have never see someone did a "rotating overlord" in a BGH game before. If you are a regular BGHers that have never see low-money-map replays, then probably you have never see one.

A rotating overlord is an annoying and extra strats whereby the overlord flew on top of the base (nexus, command centres, and hatchery) observing, blocking opponent from clicking the base, and a plus of that, it is rotating 360 degree non stopping... aggresively.

Though I have tried to rotate it by following some brief instructions from Twins)Gillian of US West, I still couldn't get a perfect 360 degree of rotation... my rotation was of 180 degree only. Can anyone share with us some descriptions and hopefully a replay as well on how you do it?

Another European Gosu Replays

This is another European Gosu Replays sent by one of the player below to my email... ages ago. And only now I have the time to review it, and I think it was good.

VivaLdi, WitzALF, LeeJet aka projekt-q
VS
BiC[Craft], A)Fallen(Templa, FireFlier aka BiC[Player]

Just some discussion here if you have watched the replays. Do you think a tank drop on cliff by one of these players can change everything? Because I can see there's a lot of chances whereby they don't have goons and tanks, and does have some cash (and also time) to build a Starport and a dropship which might change everything.

Download the replays package at:

http://bgh.ausbc.net/request.php?9

P:S Or perhaps if I do a tank drop on cliff in a game like this, I will eliminated long ago?

Strange News: One Eyed Cat

Here's a piece of news and a picture of the latest and popular one eyed cat.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A photo of a one-eyed kitten named Cy drew more than a little skepticism when it turned up on various websites, but medical authorities have a name for the bizarre condition.
Holoprosencephaly causes facial deformities, said the U.S. National Institute for Neurological Disorders and Stroke, part of the National Institutes of Health. In the worst cases, a single eye is located where the nose should be, the institute's website said.
Traci Allen said the kitten she named Cy, short for Cyclops, was born the night of Dec. 28 with the single eye and no nose.
"You don't expect to see something like that," the 35-year-old Allen said by telephone from her home in Redmond in central Oregon.
Allen said she stayed up all night with the deformed kitten on her recliner, feeding Cy a liquid formula through a syringe. She said she cared for the kitten the next day as well, until it died that evening.
Allen had taken digital pictures she provided to The Associated Press. Some bloggers have questioned the authenticity of the photo distributed Jan. 6.
AP regional photo editor Tom Stathis said he took extensive steps to confirm the one-eyed cat was not a hoax. Stathis had Allen ship him the memory card that was in her camera. On the card were a number of pictures — including holiday snapshots and four pictures of a one-eyed kitten. The kitten pictures showed the animal from different perspectives.
Fabricating those images in sequence and in the camera's original picture format, from the varying perspectives, would have been virtually impossible, Stathis said.

This news is gathered from thestar.com.

Hmm... I don't think this is real until I see more pictures of it. I have searched almost all the news from the Internet and Blogs about this cute kitten, but I couldn't get another picture of it. Probably its an edited photo. What do you guys think?

Annoucement: Comment System Change with Immediate Effect

Due to serious abuses in the comment part of the blog, whereby some BGHers give comments using others people IDs, I will change the comment system in effective of today.

With that, only registered blogger would be able to give comment for the post. Registrating as a blogger is very easy and wouldn't take you a lot of time - this is a Google's product anyway.

To register as a blogger, please follow the link below and the instructions given on the page.

As Smart As An Asshole

Just when I login into Marlboro Channel at US West yesterday, I could immediately feel a little different "ambient" surrounding the chat window. There has been a "swearing war" between somebody in the channel - I observed, and also screen-captured everything.

I.play.for.food is a real gay bad mannered guy and he is making himself a clown in the channel, and I wonder why. The conversation goes like this when I login...
(Click on the image to enlarge the conversation)

Ohh well, some say I.play.for.food is the founder of Marlboro Channel. And if he really is, then the founder of the Marlboro Channel at US West is as smart as an asshole.

Add-On Solution to "Handling Cannon Behind Mineral" by na3r0k

Here's another solution for the cannon-behind-mineral scenario at 12. You can actually attacks the cannon (with a worker) without going through the minerals. Seeing how na3r0k do it is will be easier than I tried to explain everything here, so I'll just cut the crap and show you the replay in the link below.

Thanks to na3rok once again.

XENO]P[HOBIA is Joining

The great XENO]P[HOBIA from Europe Server has finally join us as a contributor to the blog. XENO]P[HOBIA also known as Xeno in short is also the site's owner of BGH4EVER. For your information, BGH4EVER.com is the only successful and serious website that ever tried to start a BGH league... but I don't know how successful it is, you have to ask Xeno to know more.

From various different reliable sources, XENO]P[HOBIA is argueably NOT one of the greatest regular BGH player, but is the greatest itself among all the greatest (in short, best of the best). Hah, the above statement will sure raise a lot of doubts and heats among those who have not played with Xeno - including myself of course ^^. But with the APM of a progamers, I don't doubt that a lot... just for your information, his APM is way above 300. And for your information again, in Malaysia (my home country) we have 27 millions citizens, and the guy with the highest APM in the country is Marine[Gk] aka. M1-SarangNun, he have an average APM of 280 if I am not mistaken.

Hopefully with the participation of Xeno as a contributor, we will not suffers from the lack of quality news and replays. I wish Xeno to have a good time here in the future. Happy posting.

Spike846: show me how u make a carrier (without stargate)

This is a 2vs2 game whereby a guy call Spike846 (US West) cheated by Genie)... with words, not hack. The story goes when Genie) hides his 3 Stargates at 1 without the knowledge of Spike846. The conversation goes when the Carriers appeared.

Spike846: where the fuck he get carriers
Spike846: no airway
Genie): I hack
Spike846: wtf
Spike846: I don't understand
Genie): LOL
Spike846: omfg
Spike846: how can I win
Spike846: dude how fucking gay r u
Spike846: honestly
genie): don't know how I got carriers?
Spike846: no
genie): Brown Zerg
genie): gave me all his money
Spike846: yah
genie): and tech
genie): we exchanged men
Spike846: how
genie): hack
Spike846: is there anyway i can win?
Spike846: u have map hack too?

(Spike846 keep scanning everywhere, but just couldn't find the hidden Stargates)

genie): no. cause i got carriers
genie): i don't use maphack
genie): only carrier hack
Spike846: i don't understand

(and suddenly, many more carriers come)

Spike846: what the fuck
Spike846: u have unlimited carriers?
genie): yes
Spike846: how
genie): hack
Spike846: dude dont be a pussy
Spike846: vision me
genie): i will
Spike846: i have to go
genie): when i kill your base
Spike846: vision me
Spike846: i dont give a fuck
Spike846: i'll leave just vision me
genie): ok. i'll vision

(after some wait by Spike846, he started to get frustated)

Spike846: vision
Spike846: yo fuckin vision man

(genie) uses his carriers to destroy his own stargates and visioned Spike846)

Spike846: now show me how u make a carrier
genie): hack
genie): search for it
genie): it's out there
Spike846: do it
Spike846: i wanna c one appear
Spike846: do u need minerals
genie): no
genie): what you must do is let your ally die
genie): in order to get carrier
genie): that's why i didnt help brown
Spike846: r u serious
genie): yes, the hack
Spike846: why does ur ally have to die
genie): requires ally
genie): so taht you have time
genie): to build up carriers
genie): i know

(Spike846 was eliminated)

Car Reviews: The Starwars's Jar Jar Binx Car

This is one of the weirdest looking car on street - the Fiat Multipla. The first time when I saw this car back in 2003, I felt sorry about the design - it looks like a frog to me, a happy looking frog face. According to many reviews, this car though look strange, everything else is perfect. From price, drive, and comfort, Fiat Multipla is on top notch. My brother said he will definitely buy this car when he have the cash.

And if you are a Starwars fans, this car will look familliar to you. Yes, it really look like the character Jar Jar Binx in Starwars. Take a look at the two pictures below.

But if I got the money, I won't buy this car (^_^)

Packed Zerg

This is a funny replay from me and my brother, TerranID. We are playing a LAN game with some of my brother friends, whereby I died early. By the way, they are still new to Starcraft, and you shouldn't expect any unique strategy and skills here. They don't play Battle.net.

This game is funny because neither side found a solution to hurt each other for almost 50minutes. The Zergs were packed in one base as TerranID guarded them from expanding. The base is too packed until they can't even click the drones... haha and have to build a nydus just to let its unit out from the main base to the little outside of the main base.

Download the replay at: -

http://bgh.ausbc.net/request.php?4

P:S I didn't use qpclan.org replay database because I didn't know how to do it.

(I can't read Germans -_-")

Update: I am now using aus.cold site to host the replay. Many thanks to him.

Selling Battle.net Account ID

MakersOfHeaven.net is selling Battle.net Account ID for cash... and amazingly someone really buy from them. The owner of the website is M[o]H-Vietpho-, and he is also the founder of the clan M[o]H. Extensive information about the clan can be found from the website and I wonder do they really as popular as what they claim. Just like another typical with complicated features in the website, every member is given ranking - Admiral, General, Lieutenant General, and etc (ahh, do we really need these to make ourselves happy?). Other features, you checked yourself.

Ok, back to the topic (Selling Battle.net Account ID), I never thought that it will work. I know it works in games like Diablo (ID and special Items), WoW, and RO - just to name some, but why issit selling Starcraft ID also work? Games like Diablo, WoW, and RO offers real value and enhance your gameplay because of the characters you can become and the items you can use if you foot out cash for it... but what with that piece of Starcraft ID would offer to your gaming life?

From M[o]H website, there has been past history of successful deal made by M[o]H and ID buyers. A typical deal will cost around USD35. Wow... that's a amazing...

And today, M[o]H-VietPho- from US West is selling his own ID for.... hmm it wasn't stated, maybe if you wanna buy, you can email him directly. And for your information, his ID stats is 999999-853591-108539 as of today.

P:S MakersOfHeaven's tagline is "JOIN US OR GO TO HELL"

Now I can Upload Replays to qpclan.org

Poeta, a crew from gosugamers had sincerely offered me a place to upload my replays in this blog into qpclan site. He came to talk to me through my Yahoo Messenger last night and he is a well mannered guy though he don't talk a lot of English. He told me he is also a BGHers (ohh, I never knew that a gosugamers's crew plays BGH) and is happy to contribute something to our BGH community.

Poeto, is also the admin for qpclan site, and had organized lots of major events such as tournament in the low-money-map scene. With his belief in me, he had offered me a username and a password so that I can login to upload replays. Non-members can download replays directly from there.

It's a suprise that we've started to get attentions from many rest of the Starcraft world in this blog. And hopefully, we will have more contributors like Poeta, to sustain our legacy. Many thanks to him.

P:S Poeta is playing at Europe Server with the ID GG-Poeta, and East Server with the ID mEgAlOoSeR (36-1925-159) <--- very much like me

A Win Collector and A Lost Collector

Why is there such a guy that have so many wins and so little loses, and on the other hand there's another guy who's also decent, have such a big lost but little wins?

Big winners, with stats like 2863-241-105 are players that are really darn good. It's hardly for you to win them if they were with their friends when you are not. But the thing is, player like this never play alone in the public. Without their friends around, they change ID, an ID with lesser win, an ID uniquely for them to fool around. Records really matters to them, from honour, fame, and of course nice-to-look at. Their wins are not totally a pure win, most of the time they have allied end victory though they lost. Players like this lead a difficult life in Battle.net as they don't afford to take any loses. The game lag like hell, the last enemy probe hide his pylon somewhere, or is dinner time and his mum is yelling - this player have to finish the game no matter what, just for the sake of that 1 win.

Big losers, with stats like 241-3444-200 aren't really losing that much. I am a player like that and I know. Why do I kept such a losing record? Again, shamefully, its about nice-to-look at too. If I were to have a stats like 1503-1211-123, people can't actually suprise with it. And frankly, when I see someone with a record of 1503-1211-123, I woulda have think he is just normal, but not when he have 223-2700-123. Lost collector like me play a lot of public without a friend or friends... and I always wanted to play against friends in the home team which are damn arrogant about their winning streak... against noobs. There are advantages of being a lost collector. First, you can quit the game when you know your team has already won (look, I don't have time to search for the last pylon) and proceed to a new game. Second, I don't need to ask for a "2nd, 3rd, or anyone game?" in Marlboro Channel to play a game... as I am not a must-win-collector. Third, ohh well, winning or losing doesn't matter to my stats as it will always look "beautiful" - but I do hunger for winning... and I have always tried my best to win a game.

No matter how good a BGHer is, its hardly for him to have a high win ratio without friends and allied victory in an inhouse game. And when is the last time you see lovebrance (4003-1129-86) from US West playing without a friend of his around?

A Blog and a Website. A BGHer and a Low-Money-Maper.

aus.cold from US West Server offers me today to replace this blog into a whole new readily available website at http://bgh.ausbc.net/, with better features such as replay posting, forum, and others cool stuff. However, I am not ready to move.

I felt that it defeats the purpose of a blog if it is a website. Initially, previously, and actually, I had always wanted to blog rather than to become an admin of a serious (or non-serious) website. A blog is a place for my ownself to say my say... rather than a place like gosugamers, sclegacy, or teamliquid.net, and other clan site community. I don't feel like becoming serious, I just felt like blogging, and positions this blog as a different site from all other existing sites mentioned above.

Again, I am a BGHer, a non-serious gamer, I am not unlike any other BGHers. And I am sure all BGHers would agree with me that we are playing BGH for fun, purely fun, and only fun. We don't intend to join tournament or to become pro. We have always been "called" by low-money map players as noobs, but hey, that's fine, we don't care, we only care for fun, and yesterday, today, and tomorrow we will still be having pure fun in our own turf, a 3vs3 BGH.

For those low-money map players who don't understand our fun, who are calling us noobs everyday, I have to clarify here that you guys just don't "hit-us" (with that). Because, we are happy with what we are doing, and not happy when we play a low-money map... yes we played, but we don't stick to it. And hey, those happy gamers (BGHers) don't even know you are calling them noobs, again haha, they don't know, and they don't care.

Back to the website matters, perhaps a blog like this would suit BGHers more - I guess. And everybody, don't forget aus.cold have try to contribute something BIG to our BGH community. I appreciate it very much. Thank you again, aus.cold.

An Old Email from Player[Craft]

This is an old email from Player[Craft] that stucked in my emails since 17 December 2005. Sorry for not posting this up due to work and blog thingy, and I totally forget about this one...

Here's what email sound:

Hii think you're right that we are at a below level, at least for the time being. Last 5 months there's been little gaming. Yesterday was a catastroph^^ we had no controll, too tired. Too late on the day 0400 am norway^^. Though here are a few reps.

digitalaudio was a random guy who joined me to play 2on2 vs koolam and all_bundy. Hemel is an old bgh gamer though less active now. I use differnet pc's, so I could add more replays when I get home. Though even though most of these are wins, we lose just as many. Koolam and co can post lots of replays were they win, thats why I dont see whyposting replay of us winning has any meaning for you. Its not a contest, at least not for us. I wish also that ppl would have more manner on your site, but I could as well wish that dogs could fly ;) ^^

Thing is, we dont save many replays at all. Playing for fun ya know. I really dont see any point posting replays.... Even 3 games are not enough to decide a players skill. When you played 100 games with the fellow, you'll know if he's good or not. Times change, who is best will change again. I dont know how much time the craft clan has for bw, we play lessand less.

ps: you learn by losing.

Best regards Player[Craft]

Sorry again for posting this up very late, and here's the replay package from the Craft Clan vs koolam and friends.

Turning a Wild Animal into a Nuclear

You have played thousands of Battle.net games in Starcraft. You are well-known in the Battle.net world, and everybody know you are not to be taken lightly. You are the pro, and you have generated lots of hatred, because you owned them. You are the king.

But hey, have you ever turned a wild animal in Starcraft into a nuclear? Well, most old Starcraft gamers will probably know about it. Its nothing new, nothing unusual, is just normal, but I bet lots of new generation among the Starcraft gamers never came to know about it... especially BGHers, who just played BGH 3vs3, who knew nothing about Sarah Kerringan, who never saw a wild animal (neutral unit) before, and not even know the story behind Starcraft and Brood War. They are just playing 3vs3 BGH, that's all!

Ok, today, if you still like those ignorance BGHers I mentioned on top, here's something new for you. In Starcraft, there are wild animals, also known as neutral unit. They are not on your side, and not on your enemy side. They don't attack, but just get in your way when you try to move and click. Anyway, you can't get a wild animal in BGH map.

You can actually turn a wild animal into a nuclear. To achieve this, you have to keep clicking in a continuous motions on the same wild animal for about 30-40 times... and BOOOOOM!!!!... there you got your nuclear, and the wild unit gone. However, the nuclear is just an effect and other units wouldn't take effect from this nuclear show.

If you never knew about this, try it today... is sure fun. Ohh and by the way, Warcraft2 and Warcraft3 also can make this nuclear thingy from the wild animals.
